A Wireless Charger Gift Checklist: Phone, Case, Space and Style

Before choosing a wireless charger as a gift, establish five things: the recipient's exact phone, the case and attachments they use, the available desk space, their preference for decorative effects, and the power accessories they will need. These checks matter even if you already own the same charger yourself.

A familiar game-inspired design can make the gift personal. The practical details determine whether the recipient can make it part of their day instead of finding another place to store it.

Write down the exact phone and case

“An iPhone” or “a Samsung” is not enough information for a compatibility check. Find the complete model name and check its manufacturer's specifications for wireless charging support. If the gift must remain a surprise, ask someone who knows the recipient's setup rather than guessing from a photograph.

Record the case name and any wallet, grip or other attachment. This gives support a specific combination to investigate. Do not assume that a case which works on one charging arrangement will work identically on another.

Our phone-support guide walks through the information to collect. If you cannot establish the model, settle compatibility before committing to a charging accessory.

Measure the place the gift would occupy

Think about where the recipient leaves their phone now. Is there an open spot beside the keyboard, or does it usually sit behind the monitor because the desk is crowded? A decorative charger needs a place that is both visible and convenient.

Use the model's published dimensions as a starting point, then allow room for the phone, the cable and the person's hand. For the current Desk Chargers models:

ModelListed dimensionsAdditional space to consider
Air Force Command HQ 3.0W 9.7 × D 14.8 × H 11.7 cmAccess to the staircase control and clearance around the radar
Service DepotL 13.8 × W 12.5 × H 3–8 cmThe manually positioned arm and the path used to lift the phone

The measurements do not describe every possible phone overhang or arm position. If space is tight, a paper footprint is a useful planning aid, but it is not a substitute for checking the complete arrangement.

Match the features to the room

Consider the recipient's preferences before choosing the most elaborate design. Do they enjoy illuminated desk accessories? Do they share a work area? Would interactive sound be welcome during the day?

HQ 3.0 has RGB lighting, sound cues and a rotating radar. Service Depot has a manually posable arm; it does not move automatically during charging. The two-model comparison covers the documented differences without relying on the appearance alone.

For a repeat gift, make these checks again. Your own experience can help you explain the product, but a friend's phone, desk and preferences may be different. Buying a second model for yourself also means checking its own power requirements rather than assuming that the first model's accessories transfer.

Confirm the full gift and its timing

Both current models are assembled products at $169 USD each. Ask what the selected package includes and which adapter and cable are needed. Assembly status does not establish that all power accessories are supplied.

Free worldwide standard shipping has no minimum order value. It does not include customs duties or import taxes, and there is no single confirmed delivery window for every destination. For a birthday or other fixed date, provide the country, postal code and required date before making plans. The current policy is on Shipping & Delivery.

Online checkout is currently unavailable. Use Customer Help to resolve product and destination questions before ordering.

Keep this small gift record: exact phone and case, chosen model, measured location, confirmed package contents, required power accessories and destination information. It is useful for the purchase decision and gives the recipient a clear starting point when the gift arrives.
